Everyone loves music and the role of music in everyone\u2019s lives is very different. For some, it is an escape from the ordinary world and for some, it is getting back to life. Since music is such an integral part of everyone\u2019s lives, this day was started to honour it. Every year, there is a different theme decided to celebrate world music day. Last year, the theme of world music day was \u2018Music on the Intersections\u2019. The theme of World Music Day 2023<\/strong> is yet to be released.<\/p>\n

A little back story about the world music day <\/strong><\/p>\n

The first world music day was celebrated in 1982. The first world music day was celebrated in France. It took place in Paris and was called F\u00eate de la Musique. The people were urged to play music outdoors to participate in festivities. Many countries for inspired by this tradition and most countries started celebrating this day from that time onwards. Now, it’s a global celebration. The tradition was started by a French Politician named Jack Lang. He came up with this idea with one of the music journalists named Maurice Fleuret.<\/p>\n

Right from that day, world music day has become one of the most important events in most countries in the world. On this day, professional singers, musicians, music amateurs, enthusiasts, lovers, and basically everyone who adores music come together to celebrate this day.
